The code delivered to your browser by chertpress.com is CHERT's own. The fonts are licensed under the SIL Open Font License, whose text accompanies the font files linked from the licences page.

The server-side components listed on the licences page are used unmodified under permissive licences and are not distributed to you.

When engines go live

Corresponding source for network-copyleft engines

Several planned CHERTPRESS engines are licensed under the GNU Affero General Public License. Before any such engine serves users, this page will offer the complete corresponding source of the exact deployed version, including any CHERT-maintained extensions that are derivative works, as a downloadable archive — not a link to a private repository.

Licence texts, copyright notices and NOTICE files of every deployed component are preserved unchanged and published under /legal/licenses.
