CHERTPRESS / Trust
Trust
Journalism you can trace, from source to page
Every CHERTPRESS story keeps its versions, approvals, credits, rights and corrections — and every boundary between universities, desks and subscribers is enforced, not assumed.
Editorial integrity
Humans are responsible for the journalism
Human correspondents
“Agents” in CHERTPRESS means human reporters and contributors. Any AI assistance is subordinate to human editorial responsibility.
No invented reporting
No invented quotes, generated documentary photographs or unsupported factual claims are published as reporting.
Explicit approval
Only designated editors move a story into a public or subscriber-visible state — and the approval is recorded.
Visible corrections
Corrections are new versions with a reason; readers and subscribers see what changed.

Honest status
We say exactly where things stand
CHERTPRESS reports every piece of work with one of six states — never a vague “complete”. Today the platform is documented and its infrastructure inspected; implementation starts with engine qualification.
| State | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Documented | Written in a plan, decision record or specification |
| Inspected | Observed on a real system, with evidence |
| Implemented | Code or configuration exists |
| Tested | Tests pass against the real components |
| Deployed | Running on a named environment |
| Accepted | The owner has accepted the evidence |
Open source
Built on open-source engines, credited by name
Engines under qualification. Each is used as an intact upstream release through its supported interfaces; selections are final only after qualification, and licences are recorded exactly.
